Hemaview or live blood microscopy, is a tool we use to complement naturopathic consultations. Live blood analysis is exactly how it sounds - the process of examining the blood in real time under a high powered microscope. It is an enlightening test that is performed on site, during your consultation, with the results available immediately.

Using a drop or 2 of your blood, we can examine the size, shape, structure and ratios of the red cells, white cells and platelets in your blood.  You may have had blood tests before, but nothing compares to seeing your own blood, live on the screen in front of you.  You might even be able to catch your white blood cells doing their thing and gobbling up bacteria in your blood!

Live blood analysis is very different to any other blood test you may have had done in through your doctor. Live blood analysis is more interested in the quality of your blood cells than the number. It is possible to have normal numbers of blood cells, but for them to be sick and functioning poorly, accompanied by a lot of acid and yeast.
